If I’ve learned anything in this life, it’s to be yourself. Being yourself doesn’t mean striving to be great, or popular, or even memorable. It means feeling good wearing your own skin, that this is you, and that these are your experiences, your world view, your sensibilities.
The formation of your personality, who you are, what you do, how you react, all project from being yourself, which, at some point in your life, requires a simple self-admission: that you see yourself as okay. Not perfect, not a superstar, not void of any past mistakes. You have accepted who you are, and are your own stamp of approval.
